Princess place after development completed

Housing New Zealand may have completed its Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Programme but its work across the city will continue.

It was the New Zealand Government’s biggest investment in social housing in the South Island’s recent history.

Housing New Zealand’s Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Programme (CERP) was formed in 2011 to respond to the mammoth task of repairing 5000 earthquake damaged properties and to build up to 700 new homes. The Cerp team officially completed this programme, ending its role in June 2016, and brought its work back to “business as usual” within Housing New Zealand’s Asset Development Group.
